STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE BOWL

Smoothie bowls have quickly become a morning staple for me! They are such a great way to get a variety of nutrients in one simple blend. I especially love how quick and effortless they are...and filling!

I've been finding some really nice, beautifully ripe strawberries at the grocery store lately so I really wanted to use them in a smoothie bowl. I topped this luscious pink blend with some sliced kiwi, shredded unsweetened coconut, chia seeds and cacao nibs for a little crunch.

ZUCCHINI NOODLES WITH AVOCADO CREAM

When I want something light but satisfying for supper I'll make zucchini noodles or "zoodles"! They're fun to eat and you can have them raw with a sauce or cook them...they are great either way.
Here I'm having them raw with a creamy, garlic-y, avocado sauce that adds some richness and allot of flavor.
To make the noodles aSpirilizer is really handy to have but if you don't have one you can still make this dish. Before I got mine I used to just use a vegetable peeler and take long strips off of the zucchini which gave me long flat linguine style noodles instead of spaghetti style.
